Curriculum Vitae

 

Lessie M. Nieves-Paugh was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. A Latina illustrator who’s a University of Central Florida alumna. She graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts with a minor in Psychology. Her works were exhibited and published illustrations in tabletop role-playing books such as Eyes Unclouded and Into the Feywild. 

 

Artist Statement

 

 

"The moments where we hold our hands for comfort, the smile that steals our breath, the warmth of the sun basking in the horizon, soothing waves upon the sand, and the voice of the laughter that fills the silence are the moments I see. It makes the hues shine under the night, wrapping the light in an embrace, the beauty of the world is the stories we create. " 

 

I want to tell a narrative that resonates with the audience alongside my voice which weaves into my work -creating the human connection.
